Copyright (DMCA) Policy
Last updated
Parlay respects copyright. Users can upload rulebooks for their own reference, and a rulebook may be shared to a community catalogue so that others can search it. If you believe material on Parlay infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act quickly.
Sending a takedown notice
Email dmca@parlay.rocks with:
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Where the material is on Parlay. A link to the game page or search result is ideal.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Our designated agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c):
[Agent name] [Postal address] dmca@parlay.rocks
What happens next
Within one business day of a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material and tell the user who uploaded it. That user may send a counter-notice. If they do, we forward it to you, and unless you tell us within 10 business days that you have filed a court action, the material may be restored 10 to 14 business days after the counter-notice.
Counter-notices
If material you uploaded was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email dmca@parlay.rocks with: where the material was; your contact details; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or for [County, State] if you are outside the United States); and your signature.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly upload infringing material.
Publishers
If you publish games and would like your rulebooks indexed, kept out of the catalogue, or linked to your own site, write to legal@parlay.rocks. We would rather work with you than take things down.
